The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia publish an adaptation of a lecture authored by Samantha Bowen, Clinical Pharmacist at HPS Nepean in its journal, Pharmacy GRIT

The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia recently published in its journal, Pharmacy GRIT, an adaptation of a lecture authored by Samantha Bowen, Clinical Pharmacist at HPS Nepean.

Samantha Bowen (Clinical Pharmacist, HPS Nepean), wrote the January lecture, ‘Severe euglycaemic ketoacidosis with SGLT2 inhibitor use in the perioperative period’. This lecture provides an interesting and very timely review of the risks associated with this relatively new class of medicines.

An adaptation of this lecture is now the ‘Practice Feature’ of the Autumn 2020 issue of the Pharmacy GRIT journal. HPS Pharmacies would like to congratulate Samantha on her recent publication and thank her for her valuable contribution to the HPS Pharmacies lecture series.
